Kremmling is within miles of world class downhill skiing. Vail, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Steamboat Springs, Winter Park and Sol Vista are all just a short drive from Kremmling.

If nordic skiing is more your cup of tea, then come enjoy over 300 miles of nordic trails in Grand County.

SNOWMOBILING
Rabbit Ears Pass - A favorite among locals, the summit of the Pass is an easy 40-minute drive from Kremmling. Miles of trail and open terrain await you.
Gore Pass - Just 16 miles outside of Kremmling off Highway 134, Gore Pass is a snowmobile paradise. Powder days abound here as snowmobiliers traverse acres of National Forest
Spring Creek - Just 10 miles south of Kremmling, Spring Creek offers miles of uncrowded terrain perfect for uninhibited riders.
Winter Park - The Winter Park and Fraser Snowmobile Trails are located in the Arapaho National Forest on the east and west side of Highway 40 near the towns of Fraser and Winter Park. The area offers a variety of riding, from trail riding to meadows and steep mountain play areas.
Grand Lake - Just 45 minutes from Kremmling, known as the 'Snowmobile Capital of Colorado,' Grand Lake’s trail system consists of over 300 miles of snowmobile riding with over 150 miles of these trails groomed and maintained by the Grand Lake Trailgroomers Snowmobile Club.

Fossil Ridge
Just miles from Kremmling, explore this geological sight. Fossils of long gone ammonites can be found among the rocks. Please leave the fossils where they are so everyone can enjoy them. The park entrance, in Grand Lake, is about a 45 minute drive from Kremmling.
This section of the Colorado Scenic Byways starts at the headwaters of the Colorado River in Rocky Mountain National Park, and follows the river into Kremmling. From Kremmling you can continue on your journey over the scenic Trough Road to State Bridge. Don't forget to stop at Inspiration Point to see the spectacular views of Gore Canyon. Skyline Drive
Travel 2.3 miles west of Kremmling on Hwy 40 to Skyline Drive on the right. Take this dirt road to public fishing access on the Muddy, and the road that goes along the top of the "Cliffs" that are the back-drop to the Town of Kremmling. A must see for any Kremmling visitor.
