The BLM land adjacent to Kremmling's northern boundary has all the washes, gullies and flats to delight novice to experienced mountain bikers. Trails are marked for motorized and non-motorized vehicles, and can be accessed by a parking area on the west side of Hwy 22. For information about trails throughout Grand County, please visit Grand County.
Sublime single track is also mainted at nearby Latigo Ranch, located just to the west of Kremmling on the Gore range. During winter months, Latigo also grooms trails for Nordic skiers and fat bike riders. For information about their fat bike races, visit our events page.
Summit, Grand and Routt counties are famous with road bikers for the fabulous views and challenging climbs. So much so that the Pro Cycling Challenge charted a route through those three counties - including down Kremmling's main street - for the 2012 and 2013 races. In the summer of 2014, CDOT will be working together with regional partners to expand Hwy 9 between Silverthorne and Kremmling. The expansion will include bike lanes. Stay tuned for more updates on that project!
